John is a recent graduate of Arizona State University, from which he earned three degrees: a B.A of Architecture, an M.Arch and an M.S. in the Built Environment. Prior to joining Case, John worked in Phoenix, Arizona with Michael Underhill Architects and Studio Ma, and spent three months with EMBT Arquitectos in Barcelona, Spain. John's passion for design lies in exploring the intersection of architecture, science, and technology. In particular, he is interested in environmentally responsive design. While at ASU, John received awards for Design Excellence and presented his research on urban heat island effect at the Solar 2011 National Conference.
