CASE at Autodesk University

Autodesk University is coming up (December 1 - 3 in Las Vegas) and Dave will be all over the place!

AU Design Computation Update

Since it looks like Robert isn't planning to add information online about the AU Design Computation Symposium that I mentioned earlier, I've decided to make my lecture available here.

Cut&Paste AU Design Slam Update

Cut&Paste updated their website with images and information on all of the AU 3D Design Slam events.

Check it out.

CASE wins Cut&Paste Design Slam at AU!

After extensive training and intense competition, Dave emerged victorious in the "Less AND More" category of the inaugural Cut&Paste 3d Design Slam at Autodesk University.

CASE teaches at Autodesk University 2008

I taught a class on parametric design modeling using 3ds Max at Autodesk University. The class gave an overview of many of the techniques that I cover on Design ReForm. Specifically, the class demonstrated how to use 3ds Max modeling tools to build iterative parametric design systems, in order to reduce the amount of explicit modeling so that you can focus your efforts on design.

CASE presents at Design Computation Symposium at AU

I was invited to present during the inaugural Design Computation Symposium at Autodesk University 2008. The event, organized by by Robert Aish, Director of Software Development at Autodesk, brought together some of the leading practitioners of computational design from across the AEC industry.
