Taipei Pop Music Center Competition

For their competition entry for the new Taipei Pop Music Center, CAZA along with Office dA, brought CASE in to provide acoustic and solar radiation analysis and visualization to enhance the work performed by specialist consultants: Arup and JaffeHolden. Using models created by the design team as a basis, CASE developed analytical models that were used to evaluate incident solar radiation levels on various green roof surfaces and acoustic reflections and delay for a large outdoor amphitheater. This resulted in animations and images that allowed the design team to visualize and communicate the intended performance of the project.
