BIM Authoring

BIM is not a single model or software, it is the process of managing geometric elements and the associated data in order to accomplish specific tasks. CASE has extensive experience creating BIM models in a variety of software platforms, throughout all phases of a project. We provide comprehensive modeling...

BIM Model Management

While the true benefits of BIM are realized when working across all aspects of a project, BIM presents numerous discipline-specific advantages over traditional design and delivery methods. BIM can be utilized to streamline project management and improve the quality control of deliverables for any member of a project...

Quantity Extraction

Accurate quantification of building components is a constant necessity during design and construction phases of any project.  Through model-based management, CASE works with its clients to extract the most accurate information of any building component, be it counts, areas, linear footages, volumes, etc...

BIM Drawing Extraction

Building a BIM model for documenting a project requires much customization on behalf of the author for acceptable output. Any metadata applied (i.e. cost, manufacturer, fire rating, count, assignable square footage, etc...) can be used to more accurately represent a project's components. Data and graphics must...

Ennead Architects and NBBJ needed a process to effectively manage nearly 3 million square feet of existing space as part of a thirty-year campus masterplan. CASE developed a system to supplant an existing modeling, data extraction, documentation and visualization process that involved numerous tedious and discontinuous steps, with a unified building information model that could be used as a planning tool to visualize data from 16 existing buildings, across seven phases, with 15 proposed building options over the thirty-year planning period. CASE established BIM specifications, protocols and best practices that enabled the project team to model and extract the information and deliverables needed from a single environment, while maintaining the overall project schedule.
