Officewide BIM Training, Standards and Support

As part of an effort to deliver more integrated projects, Snohetta hired CASE to carry out an officewide BIM implementation in their New York office. Through careful assessment of the firm’s priorities, CASE developed a highly custom approach to BIM implementation that included standards conversion, project-specific training, interoperability best practices, custom BIM plug-ins and a BIM server to support Snohetta’s project needs. As part of this effort, CASE is also providing ongoing project support on two significant projects: Ryerson University’s new Student Learning Center in Toronto, Canada and the expansion to SFMOMA in San Francisco, CA. This project support was focused on identifying workflows that would support Snohetta’s design process, while also maximizing the value of BIM for the extended project team, including the engineering consultants, builders, and owners.
